Open source SMC development kit released
Laur Kanger

The Sharemind [https://sharemind.cyber.ee/] team has released an open source development kit for building secure multi-party computation applications. It contains the SecreC 2 programming language that separates public data and secrets on a type system level and an emulator that you can use to estimate the running time of your application in a fully encrypted environment. The statistics library, which is included in the SecreC 2 standard library, has been developed in UaESMC.

A virtual machine image, with the Sharemind SDK tools pre-installed, can be found here [https://sharemind.cyber.ee/sdk.html]. For further information, see the Sharemind SDK Github page [http://sharemind-sdk.github.io/].
